What does a session look like?

The first session is allocated to assessment and goal setting. Together we setup goals and plan how to achieve them. We discuss the your concerns and will develop a plan to determine the most suitable approach to assist you in your journey of recovery. The length and the number of sessions required would be also discussed during the assessment.

A therapy session includes check in, discussion around the raised concerns/reflective activity (art based) followed by reflection and closure.

Can I get reimbursement for my sessions?

Art therapy is not covered under medicare scheme, however you may be eligible for rebate through your private health care.

We are in the process of getting registration with NDIS as a provider. You however can use your plan If you are an NDIS participant. Either self-managed or plan managed, you can use your NDIS fund for therapeutic support and there will be no out of pocket fee.

What is your Privacy policy?

We are ethically bound to protect your privacy regardless of what information you choose to share with others.

Your confidential information would only be disclosed under any one or more of the following circumstances:

(a) with your consent or a person with legal authority to act on your behalf

(b) where there is a legal obligation to do so.

(c) if there is an immediate and specified risk of harm to you or an identifiable person that can be averted only by disclosing information.
